How do you normally peel your bananas? Just like the image below right? Apparently it's not necessary the best way to enjoy the potassium rich fruit.
Have you encountered bananas with thicker skins or longer stem that made it difficult to be peeled open from the stem side. A youtube channel called Crazy Banana has uploaded a video demonstrating the alternative method of peeling open a banana. Apparently they took inspiration from monkeys!
Crazy Banana said we normally open it from the stem side by pinching it with our thumb and rip it open.
Or with our mouth (really?)
One day, his friend pointed out it's easier if you start from the the tip of the banana. He even showed a video of a monkey to prove it.
What you do is hold the banana the other way around...
and just pinch the tip to open the banana effortlessly.
